Upgrade the low-pressure fuel system in your 2022+ FL5 Honda Civic Type R with this Radium Engineering fuel pump hanger. The hanger is compatible with one, two or three aftermarket fuel pumps and reuses the OEM fuel level sensor, making it a practical foundation for high-performance fuel system upgrades.
The kit includes the components required to configure the hanger for one, two or three fuel pumps. Depending on your setup, some supplied components will not be used.
Available Part Numbers
- 20-1090: Compatible with AEM 50-1220 and DeatschWerks DW440 brushless fuel pumps.
- 20-1092: Compatible with Ti Automotive Walbro F90000267, F90000274 and F90000285 fuel pumps, plus Fuelab 49614 and Protec 11928 brushless pumps.
20-1092 fitment notes: Fuelab 49614 and Protec 11928 pumps do not fit the supplied pump strainer. Radium part number 13-1187 is required for these pumps. The supplied upper triple-pump block and pump adapters are also not compatible with these pumps. Use the correct Triple Pump Block with 10mm Standard Barbs, suitable submersible hose and EFI hose clamps.
Fittings
The merged fuel pump outlet is machined with a 10AN ORB female port using 7/8-14 threads in the top plate. A low-profile 8AN male fitting is supplied for connection to an aftermarket fuel line, which is not included.
The fuel return inlet is machined with a 6AN ORB female port using 9/16-18 threads in the top plate. A low-profile SAE quick-connect fitting is supplied so the factory feed line can be repurposed as a return line. All fittings are machined low enough to clear the surrounding area.
Fuel Starvation Protection
Multiple fuel management features work together to keep fuel available around the pump inlets during aggressive driving. The integrated collector is supplied with fuel from three sources:
- A one-piece anodised aluminium collector box traps fuel around the pump inlet or inlets.
- Three one-way fill valves in the base of the collector allow fuel to enter but prevent it from flowing back out. Each valve flows 355 LPH.
- The collector is continuously replenished by fuel returning from the fuel pressure regulator.
Electrical System
Custom stainless-steel electrical studs are designed to handle the high current demands of compact multi-pump setups. Their anti-rotation design prevents the terminals from spinning, while the serviceable connections are hermetically sealed and resistant to standard and exotic fuels.
Non-conductive anodised aluminium acorn nuts help prevent accidental short circuits. The in-tank wiring is insulated with chemically resistant ETFE for long-term durability.
Fuel Hanger Plumbing Kits
For a complete installation, Radium fuel hanger plumbing kits provide the components required between the hanger and engine, including a fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator, fuel lines, adapter fittings and mounting hardware. The plumbing kit uses an 8AN PTFE fuel line from the hanger outlet, a high-flow filter mounted to the left-hand side of the fuel tank and a dual fuel pressure regulator mounted to the firewall using OEM threaded holes.
The dual fuel pressure regulator provides two independent fuel pressure outputs. The black knob and 0-100psi gauge calibrate low-pressure fuel pump pressure for the OEM direct-injection system. A separate outlet is available for a future port-injection system and is supplied with an 8AN ORB plug. Port-injection fuel pressure is calibrated using the green knob.
The plumbing kit also includes 6AN EFI hose and SAE quick-connect adapters to convert the OEM fuel feed line into a return line, along with the required rear 6AN PTFE return line and quick-connect fitting. The external fuel pressure regulator and low-micron external fuel filter are required for installation and are included with the fuel hanger plumbing kits.
Optional Fitting and Plumbing Kits
Optional Radium fuel hanger plumbing kits are available separately for customers who want a complete fuel system installation. Choose between the stainless-steel or microglass filter configuration:

Installation Notes
- An external fuel pressure regulator is required and is included in the fuel hanger plumbing kits.
- A low-micron external fuel filter is required and is included in the fuel hanger plumbing kits.
- Single-pump installations can reuse the OEM fuel pump wiring.
- Upgrading the OEM wiring is recommended to ensure the single pump receives full power.
- Additional pumps require dedicated relays and fuses for each pump.
- Universal fuel pump wiring kits should be selected for each additional aftermarket pump.
