CPM Chassis Tuning: Japanese Chassis Bracing & Reinforcement

CPM Chassis Tuning is a Japanese chassis-reinforcement specialist based in Ebina, Kanagawa. Drawing on racing experience that includes SUPER GT and the GT World Challenge, CPM builds bolt-on braces that tie the chassis together for sharper steering, better stability and a more connected feel, while staying comfortable enough for everyday driving.

The CPM Range

• Lower Reinforcements: Replace the factory under-floor brace, with CPM's patented X-Plate design for adjustable stiffness.
• Front & Rear Member Braces: Tie the subframe to the chassis so they move together under braking, acceleration and cornering.
• Front Strut Braces: Lightweight anodised aluminium braces that link the strut towers to keep suspension geometry consistent.

Precision machined on a centre that also produces aircraft and racing components, and only anodised once each piece passes CPM's inspection.

CPM FAQ

What does a lower reinforcement do?
It replaces the factory under-floor brace and stiffens the front of the chassis. CPM's X-Plate lets you adjust how stiff it is.

What is a member brace?
A member brace strengthens the join between the subframe (suspension member) and the body, reducing flex so the steering feels more precise.

Will CPM parts make my car too harsh for the street?
No. CPM tunes its street parts to firm up the chassis without being too stiff for daily driving.

Are they bolt-on?
Yes, CPM parts use the factory mounting points. Some applications, like the 86 / BRZ lower reinforcement, need minor trimming of the underbody covers.
