The ZE40 was designed as “the strongest wheel even 10 years ahead” and became the flagship of the Volk Racing range. The ZE40X carries that design philosophy over into a wheel developed to be the strongest 4x4 wheel.

Its spokes are optimised for high load capacity, and an intricately back-machined centre adds strength and rigidity. The spokes are bonded to the rim for maximum durability on gravel and rough terrain, while machining balances light weight and strength.
