Alongside the TE37, known as the most rigid Volk Racing wheel, the CE28N has always focused on light weight. Through many derivative models and updates it has stayed popular for its low weight and a design that suits almost any car.

The CE28N-plus is an update with greatly improved strength and rigidity to cope with heavier, more powerful modern cars. The spoke design, rim shape and thickness were reviewed using the latest strength analysis, keeping the CE28N design base but reworking the detail and core strength.
