PTFE is the gold standard for chemically inert hose material, offering exceptional resistance to the harsh fluids commonly found in modern performance vehicles. Radium Engineering’s PTFE hoses are now carbon-lined to help dissipate static charge buildup—an important feature in high-flow fueling systems.
Beyond fuel, PTFE hoses are compatible with oil, transmission fluid, power steering fluid, and coolant. With virtually zero permeation, they won’t emit vapors like traditional rubber hoses, making them a cleaner, safer choice.
Every Radium PTFE hose has been pressure-tested in-house to 1,200 psi, though PTFE is generally rated to handle pressures exceeding 2,500 psi. These hoses are also built to perform in extreme temperatures, from -94°F to +480°F.
Each hose features a seamless extruded PTFRE core wrapped in a stainless steel wire braid and finished with a durable braided PET jacket. All hose ends are constructed from type-II black anodized aluminum for excellent corrosion resistance and a clean, professional finish.
We strongly advise that assembly of this hose be performed by experienced installers and pressure testing of each assembly is performed before the hose is used.
