The Radium Engineering 20-0622 RA-Series Fuel Cell is a 22 US gallon (83.3L) competition fuel cell, designed and manufactured by Radium Engineering to meet the safety requirements of the FIA and SFI.
RA-Series fuel cells suit all types of motorsport, including road racing, time attack, drifting, rally, off-road racing and endurance.
Construction
The heart of the fuel cell is the seamless polymer bladder. This component undergoes thorough testing and carries the critical certifications. Radium RA-Series bladders are made from a special polymer that is resistant to all fuel types, including petrol, diesel, AV gas, E15, E85, ethanol and methanol. The bladder is filled with explosion-suppressing anti-slosh foam and housed in a powder-coated aluminium enclosure.
Certification
RA-Series fuel cells are tested and approved by the FIA and SFI. Every cell is serialised and comes with both certifications and the associated paperwork. Certifications are valid for 5 years from the date of manufacture.
