PERRIN Oil Cooler Full Kit - 2015-2021 Subaru WRX
Part Number: PSP-OIL-111
The PERRIN Oil Cooler Full Kit is the definitive oil temperature management solution for the 2015–2021 Subaru WRX. Engineered to keep engine oil within the optimal temperature range under hard driving conditions, it maintains performance and prolongs engine life where the factory setup falls short.
Bar and Plate Core
Each PERRIN oil cooler uses a high-efficiency bar and plate-style core. This design maximises heat dissipation without restricting oil flow, ensuring full oil pressure is maintained at all times. The bar and plate construction is significantly stronger than tube and fin type cores, withstanding damage from road debris more effectively, with more durable mounting holes and hose connection points.
Integrated Thermostat
The PERRIN Filter Adapter features an integrated 85°C (185°F) thermostat. Oil reaches optimum operating temperature within the engine before being released to the cooler — ensuring fast warm-up times and consistent thermal management.
Oil Filter Spacer
Each kit includes a PERRIN Oil Filter Spacer for easy installation of the thermostat-filter assembly, keeping the install clean and straightforward.
Why You Want This
In racing conditions, engine oil temperature skyrockets — causing decreased performance and reducing the oil's ability to properly lubricate. A well-designed oil cooling system like the PERRIN kit keeps temperatures within the desired range, maintaining performance and prolonging engine life. Most setups can see a drop of approximately 15°–20°C at 7,000 RPM.
304 Stainless Steel Mounting Brackets
Every kit includes two mounting brackets machined from 304 Stainless Steel, built to last the life of the vehicle with no corrosion concerns.
Preassembled Aeroquip Hoses
PERRIN Oil Cooler Kits feature lightweight Aeroquip -10 hose rated for 250 PSI and 300°F continuous temperature. Each hose comes pre-assembled and wrapped in industrial-grade Pyrojacket, capable of withstanding continuous exposure to 500°F (260°C) and up to 2,000°F (1,090°C) for 15–20 minutes.
