Paragon's 2-piece rear rotors for the GDB WRX STI feature directional ventilation vanes engineered to maximise airflow through the rotor, dramatically reducing operating temperatures under sustained hard braking. Whether you're on track or pushing hard on a mountain road, the improved thermal management keeps your brakes performing consistently lap after lap.

Each rotor is cast from CM-250 high-carbon cast iron and precision-machined using CBN (Cubic Boron Nitride) tooling. This process produces an exceptionally smooth and consistent friction surface straight out of the box, eliminating the need for extended bedding and delivering immediate, predictable bite from the first application.

The floating 2-piece design allows the friction ring to expand and contract independently of the aluminium hat under thermal cycling, virtually eliminating the warping and judder common with conventional solid rotors. The slotted face pattern continuously sweeps the pad surface clean of gases and debris, maintaining a fresh contact patch and consistent pedal feel throughout the braking zone.

The lightweight aluminium hat reduces unsprung mass for improved steering response and suspension compliance. Bolt-on fitment to the GDB rear hub requires no modification — a direct, no-compromise upgrade for street, track day, or time attack use. Note: this rotor is designed for vehicles without a handbrake mechanism on the rear.
