Paragon PPS330 Titanium Brake Pad Shims

A great heat management upgrade to improve braking performance for track and race applications. Paragon titanium pad shims are made of high-quality Grade 5 titanium (6AL-4V / ASTM B348) and fit between the brake pads and calipers, acting as an effective thermal barrier due to titanium's significantly lower thermal conductivity.

When the rotors and pads are hot, heat transfer via the caliper pistons to the calipers and brake fluid can lead to fluid overheat and brake fade. Fluid fade results in a soft brake pedal, reduced modulation, and — at worst — sudden loss of braking power at the track. The PPS330 shims reduce this heat transfer, keeping your hydraulic system cooler and your braking consistent lap after lap.

Beyond performance, these shims protect your caliper seals, dust boots, and brake fluid from excessive heat degradation — lowering long-term maintenance costs and reducing wasted track time from boiled fluid replacements.
