Paragon Performance rotor rings feature directional ventilation vanes that create suction and turbulence, guiding cool air through the rotor for improved heat dissipation and increased resistance to cracking under harsh track conditions. Run up to 30% cooler than OE rotors with up to 30% increased cooling efficiency.
Manufactured from CM-250 special formulated high carbon alloy cast iron, these rotor rings deliver optimal bite, superior thermal characteristics, high-temperature strength, and long-term durability. Each ring is heat treated to release internal stress and prevent deformation and vibration, then finished with state-of-the-art CBN surface machining for better break-in with new brake pads.
The floating 2-piece design allows thermal expansion of the rotor while minimising deformation and ensuring the rotor remains self-centred with the pads. Lateral run-out is kept within 0.03mm with weight variations within 2 grams for exceptional balance. The slotted face pattern improves braking consistency by maintaining a clean contact surface, dissipating heat and gases, and preventing water film formation in wet conditions.
Weighing just 7.67 kg (16.91 lbs), these rotor rings reduce unsprung mass compared to most OE rotors while maintaining proper thermal capacity for improved overall handling.
