Öhlins Road & Track Coilovers – Audi A3/S3/RS3 / TT/TTS/TTRS / VW Golf R (AWD)
Part Number: VWS MU21S2 | Drivetrain: AWD / Quattro / 4Motion models only
Over 40 years of motorsport engineering distilled into a street-ready coilover kit. The Öhlins Road & Track series delivers a genuine racing experience without sacrificing daily drivability — thanks to Öhlins' proprietary Dual Flow Valve (DFV) technology. This AWD-specific kit (VWS MU21S2) features a higher rear spring rate than the FWD variant, tuned for the additional weight and traction demands of all-wheel drive platforms. Springs included. Weight reduction of approx. 10kg compared to original suspension.
⚠️ AWD / Quattro / 4Motion models only. For FWD models, see VWS MU21S1.
⚠️ Note: For vehicles equipped OE with DDC (Dynamic Damper Control) electronic suspension, an Öhlins cancellation kit is also required (sold separately). See cancellation kit table below.

What is DFV (Dual Flow Valve)?
DFV is Öhlins' proprietary damping technology that sets the Road & Track range apart from conventional coilovers. The dual flow valve provides consistent damping characteristics on both compression and rebound strokes — the damper fluid follows a consistent flow path in both directions. This means the wheel and tyre can rapidly return to the road surface after a bump, maximising grip and traction at all times.
Because DFV opens more quickly on minor road imperfections, ride comfort is surprisingly supple — more akin to an OEM strut than a typical coilover. Over undulating surfaces, the compliance of the R&T units allows the car to crest bumps and potholes while remaining stable and in control. Traction is always maintained at its optimum level.
