Five minimalist cross spokes make the purpose of the BBS RI-D clear: ultra-low weight and sporty driving. Introduced by BBS in 2011, it was the world’s first extra-super duralumin wheel.

Duralumin is a strong, durable aluminium alloy, and extra-super duralumin is stronger again; it is also used as an aerospace material. The RI-D makes full use of it.
