Wheels for one-box vans must meet the JWL-T standard, which is stricter than the standard for passenger cars. That usually means extra weight, so balancing strength against low weight is a major challenge.

The TE37SB was developed treating the one-box van as a “Sports Box”. Its newly designed inner rim reduces flex, giving high strength and rigidity with a good margin over JWL-T, while keeping weight down to approximately 7.5 kg in the 17x6.5 size.

For the TE37’s 30th anniversary, this commemorative model is based on the current TE37SB, with spoke stickers and anniversary details as a tribute to the original TE37.
