The Torque Solution Carbon Fiber HD Hard Turbo Inlet Pipe is designed for Subaru EJ engines that utilise a STI or similar intake manifold. The HD inlet is significantly larger in size and smooths the airflow entering the turbo compared to the restrictive OEM corrugated inlet hose. All necessary hardware is included to complete the install, whether configuring the car in standard recirculated configuration or a full speed density build. Simply choose the configuration based on your turbo inlet size — available in 2.4" (OEM), 3" (PTE, Blouch, Garrett) or 84mm/3.3" (FP).

Install Notes

1. Coupler will need trimming on both ends to fit. We recommend trimming in approx. 1/8" increments using a worm gear clamp as a guide and a fresh sharp blade. Please be careful and use caution when performing this task.
2. We highly recommend using masking tape on the inlet to prevent scratching until you have the coupler perfectly trimmed.
3. Install all fittings with PTFE tape.
