Overview

The PRL Motorsports High Volume Intake System (HVI) is purpose-built for the 2023+ Honda Civic Type R (FL5) 2.0T K20C1 platform. Engineered to maximise airflow into your turbocharged engine while maintaining factory-like fuel trims for optimal drivability, the HVI is a complete air intake redesign that takes everything PRL learned from the FK8 platform and pushes it forward.

What Sets the HVI Apart

At the heart of this kit is a 6" cone air filter housed in a rotomoulded HDPE air box. The box uses the factory air duct and seal to draw cold, dense air from outside the engine bay — minimising heat soak while maximising volumetric efficiency. PRL spent considerable R&D time designing what they consider the best MAF housing on the market, ensuring stable air-fuel ratios across the entire RPM range.

Installation Notes
