Overview

The PRL Motorsports Intercooler Charge Pipe Upgrade Kit replaces the OEM rubber charge pipes with a high-flow, larger-diameter cold-side and factory-diameter hot-side outlet — eliminating boost leak failure points while maintaining ideal turbo spool. This is one of the highest-value bolt-ons available for the FL5.

Why Upgrade the Factory Charge Pipes

The OEM rubber charge pipes are known to expand under boost and weaken over time — eventually leading to boost leaks, blown couplers, or, in extreme cases, melted hoses. PRL's 4-ply silicone couplers and aluminium piping handle the heat and pressure of any tuned application while reducing thermal heat transfer compared to bare steel or aluminium.
