Overview

The PRL Motorsports Intercooler Charge Pipe Upgrade Kit replaces the OEM rubber charge pipes on the 2017-2021 Honda Civic Type R (FK8) with a smooth-flowing 26% larger inner diameter cold-side pipe, factory-diameter hot-side outlet, and 4-ply silicone couplers. Eliminates boost leak failure points while maintaining ideal turbo spool.

Why Upgrade the Factory Charge Pipes

The OEM rubber charge pipes on the FK8 are known to expand under boost and weaken over time — leading to boost leaks, blown couplers, and in extreme cases melted hoses. PRL's 4-ply silicone couplers and aluminium piping handle the heat and pressure of any tuned application while delivering significantly lower thermal heat transfer compared to bare steel or aluminium.

• Fittings for factory vacuum connection(s) & 1/8" NPT auxiliary service port
