The exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system transfers hot exhaust gases back through the intake manifold to lower nitrogen oxide emissions. However, the EGR inevitably increases intake temperatures and dilutes the oxygen required to produce horsepower. This Radium Engineering EGR Delete Kit seals all related ports when the factory EGR system is removed — including ports in the intake manifold, cylinder head, and vacuum lines — cleaning up the engine bay and eliminating the need for factory Toyota EGR gasket replacements.
