The Radium Fuel Vent Charcoal Canister traps fuel vapour from the Maverick's fuel tank vent to cut down on fuel smell. It's especially worthwhile once a windscreen is fitted, as the windscreen can draw vapour back towards the occupants.

Federal (non-CARB) Mavericks have no EVAP purge system, so the tank simply vents raw fuel vapour. In Radium's testing with a combustible gas detector, vapour at the tank vent exit measured over 10,000 ppm without the canister and under 50 ppm with it fitted. The canister mounts discreetly under the right-hand front fender, doesn't restrict the tank vent line, and routes the filtered vapour out the rear of the UTV.

Important Notes

• California (CARB) Mavericks already have an EVAP purge system that routes vapour into the intake – this canister is aimed at federal (non-CARB) models
