The Radium Engineering Fluid Lock Crankcase Catch Can Kit is engineered specifically for the Ford Fiesta ST. The PCV side and crankcase side catch cans function completely independently of each other and are sold individually or together — allowing you to address one or both sides of the crankcase ventilation system.
This is a closed loop system — it does not vent to atmosphere (VTA), making it emissions compliant and track legal. Each catch can features large 10AN ORB ports, a 4AN ORB drain port, 2-step oil separation baffling, and an O-ring sealed dipstick for easy fluid inspection. Kits mount using factory holes with no cutting, drilling, or permanent modifications required.
Crankcase Catch Can Kit - 20-0378-FL
The crankcase catch can secures to the 2 ECU mounting studs on the rear LH side of the engine bay. The entire kit fits under the OEM engine cover with no modifications required.
This catch can runs inline with the crankcase vent port. At low loads it experiences atmospheric pressure, but at high load (WOT) the vent experiences high crankcase blow-by flow. Without a catch can, this would lead to oil and sludge accumulation in the intake pipe and intercooler — reducing thermal efficiency and performance over time. The Radium catch can intercepts this before it reaches the intake system.
