The Radium 20-0825-FL catch can kit runs inline with the crankcase vent (CCV) port of the Civic Type R's K20C1, separating oil and moisture from crankcase gases before they reach the intake. This helps keep oil out of the intake tract, intercooler, throttle body and manifold, and keeps oil vapour out of the cabin.

The can fits under the OEM engine cover and mounts to the RH engine mount, with the vent lines routed over the engine and clamped to the turbo inlet pipe using temperature-resistant metal tubes. Since 2022, Radium cans use the patented Fluid Lock reservoir, which prevents overfilling and traps collected fluid until it's emptied.

Important Notes

• Radium lists these kits for left-hand-drive vehicles only – not listed for right-hand-drive (Australian-delivered) Civic Type R. Contact us before ordering for an RHD car
• Aftermarket engine mounts may require minor modification
• There is no fixed emptying interval – start checking the integrated dipstick after 3–4 weeks of driving and adjust from there; PCV cans generally collect more than CCV cans
• Excessive collection can point to an engine issue such as blow-by from engine damage, crankcase windage from an overfilled oil level, poor breather port placement or baffling, or a PCV valve leaking under heavy load
