SL stands for Super Lap. The Volk Racing TE37 SONIC SL takes the TE37 SONIC — already a highly capable sports wheel — and tunes it further to earn the SL name. It is 100 g lighter thanks to a centre-capless design and weight reduction across the wheel, while each component has been reinforced through extensive analysis and testing.

It is finished in Pressed Graphite, the same colour as the TE37SL, and the SL spoke sticker has a new design and layout unique to the TE37 SONIC SL.
