The Volk Racing TE37 debuted in 1996 and has been updated many times since. In 2016 it evolved into the TE37 SAGA, with a refreshed design and a new mould.

Since then, cars have become heavier and more powerful, all-wheel drive has changed weight distribution and traction, and high-grip tyres have evolved to match. In response, RAYS released the SAGA S-plus in January 2021, reviewing every part of the wheel to add a greater safety margin.

The face design is unchanged. The revisions are on the back of the spokes, adding approximately 100–120 g depending on size, for higher rigidity and improved strength.

Face profile (F1–F5) indicates spoke concavity — higher numbers are deeper.
