Radium Modular Rear Clam Kit — Lotus Elise 2ZZ-GE (2005+)

This kit is designed to make removal of the 2005+ Lotus Elise rear clamshell quick and easy. When combined with a few simple modifications detailed in the included instructions, clamshell removal is reduced to under 10 minutes — making engine service straightforward and significantly reducing labour costs for repair work.

Part of the modification process involves separating the deck lid hinge mounting points from the firewall. The included billet aluminium hinge brace restores structural integrity to the hinge support member after this modification. Factory steel body shims are replaced with laser-cut aluminium Radium shims that bolt permanently in place using stainless steel countersink hardware — no more tape, no more lost shims.

The billet spacers are anodized black and replace the factory steel roll of body shim washers. Body shim spacers are anodized green. The billet aluminium clam hinge brace is available in three finishes: Titanium Silver Nickel-Plated, Bright Dip Black Anodized, and Radium Green Anodized.
