The Radium Fuel Filter Kit replaces the OEM Mazda MX-5 fuel filter. Because the Radium filter is larger and less restrictive than the factory unit, it places less load on the fuel pump – lower pre-filter pressure means less current draw and lower fuel temperatures, allowing increased fuel flow. The filters tolerate alternative fuels such as methanol, ethanol and E85.

The factory filter is plumbed between the fuel pump and fuel rail, just inside the RH rear tyre. NA chassis use barbed fittings and NB chassis use SAE quick connect fittings – both are supplied, so two fittings will not be used. Installation is quick with typical hand tools and no cutting or drilling.
