The Radium Engineering Dual Fluid Lock Catch Can Kit is engineered specifically for the RB26DETT, retaining a true closed-loop PCV system with dedicated catch cans for both the PCV valve side and the crankcase vent (CCV) side of the ventilation system. The system balances the intake and exhaust sides of the crankcase via a large 10AN crossover hose — exactly as Nissan engineers intended.

This is a closed loop system — it does not vent to atmosphere (VTA), making it emissions compliant and track legal. Two double-ended press-in SAE fittings replace the crankcase vents on the valve covers for a clean, lightweight, and serviceable installation.

Each catch can features large 10AN ORB ports, a 4AN ORB drain port, 2-step oil separation baffling, and an O-ring sealed dipstick. No cutting, drilling, or permanent modifications required.

PCV Catch Can

The PCV catch can mounts to threaded bosses on the front RH strut tower, running inline between the crankcase vents on the valve cover and the PCV valve on the vacuum chamber. Large 5/8" hose and 10AN fittings are provided for both ends. During idle, steady-state cruising, and deceleration, the PCV hoses experience metered vacuum — this would normally draw crankcase vapour, unspent fuel, and oil sludge into the intake manifold. The Radium catch can intercepts this before it reaches the engine.

Notes:

• Compatible with the factory engine bay mounted battery
• If the OEM wastegate boost solenoid is still in use, it should be relocated
• No extra inline check valve required — Radium catch cans are pressure sealed

CCV Catch Can

The CCV catch can mounts to the windshield wiper motor on the LH side of the firewall, running inline between the crankcase vents on the valve cover and the turbo inlet pipe. Large 5/8" hose and 10AN fittings are provided for both ends. At high load (WOT), it captures high-flow crankcase blow-by that would otherwise accumulate as oil and sludge in the intake pipe and intercooler — reducing thermal efficiency and performance over time.
