The Radium Engineering Dual Fluid Lock Catch Can Kit is engineered specifically for the Nissan 370Z VQ37VHR engine bay. To maintain the symmetry Nissan designed into the VQ37VHR layout, the two catch cans mount to the RH and LH strut towers respectively — running inline with the twin PCV valves integrated into the valve covers and retaining full factory functionality.

This is a closed loop system — it does not vent to atmosphere (VTA), making it emissions compliant and track legal. Each catch can features large 10AN ORB ports, a 4AN ORB drain port, 2-step oil separation baffling, and an O-ring sealed dipstick for easy fluid inspection. No cutting, drilling, or permanent modifications required.

When intake manifold pressure is close to or greater than atmospheric pressure, the PCV check valves close and flow stops. During idle, steady-state cruising, and deceleration, the PCV hoses experience metered vacuum — this would normally draw crankcase vapour, unspent fuel, and oil sludge into the intake manifold. The Radium dual catch cans intercept this before it reaches the engine.

Note: No extra inline check valve required — Radium catch cans are pressure sealed, permitting a direct intake manifold connection.
