The Radium 20-1286-FL Dual Catch Can Kit is designed specifically for the 2017-2019 Corvette C7 with the LT1 dry sump engine. It includes a PCV catch can and a CCV catch can for the ultimate in engine protection.

Both cans mount in a single bracket – the PCV can at the rear and the CCV can at the front – on a grounding block. The kit replaces the OEM PCV line and the CCV tubing from the dry sump tank to the intake, while the front valve cover crankcase tubing is left unaltered. A catch can separates oil and water condensation from the crankcase gases before they reach the intake, helping to keep oil out of the intake tract, intercooler, throttle body and intake manifold. Cleaner inlet air can improve performance and lower hydrocarbon emissions, and the closed system keeps oil vapour out of the cabin.

Each can uses Radium's Fluid Lock design, introduced in 2022: a patented mechanism stops the reservoir from overfilling and traps the collected fluid until it is emptied, so contaminants can't be drawn back into the intake if servicing is missed.

Important Notes

• 2017-2019 LT1 dry sump only – wet sump cars and 2014-2016 dry sump cars use the 20-0985-FL / 20-0986-FL / 20-0987-FL kits
• Cars with Magnetic Ride Control need a wiring harness stay pried up/removed during installation
• There is no fixed emptying interval – start checking the integrated dipstick after 3–4 weeks of driving and adjust from there; PCV cans generally collect more than CCV cans
• Empty by unscrewing the lower reservoir, or fit the optional petcock drain kit where there is space under the can
• Excessive collection can point to an engine issue such as blow-by from engine damage, crankcase windage from an overfilled oil level, poor breather port placement or baffling, or a PCV valve leaking under heavy load
