Radium 27mm Dry Break AN Couplers — 6AN / 8AN

Radium dry break couplers allow two hoses to be separated with a leak-free disengagement while retaining pressure. Using a bayonet-style lock with a knurled machined surface, they will not leak when disconnected and will not introduce air upon reconnection — simply push and twist to engage or disengage. Designed for fuel and oil applications in 6AN and 8AN flare configurations.

Available as individual inner or outer couplers, or as a complete set (inner + outer). The 6AN and 8AN fittings are interchangeable, allowing step-up or step-down hose size configurations. Successfully tested at 150 PSI engaged and disengaged.

Important Notes:

• Not compatible with methanol fuel.
• Fittings flow equally in both directions and can be installed either way.
• The higher the operating pressure, the more difficult it becomes to connect and disconnect.
• Due to the dry break design, there will be some inherent flow restriction (pressure drop).
• A small amount of fluid drop may occur when engaging and disengaging.
• Do not disconnect fittings while pumps are running.
