The Radium Engineering 20-0561 PCV Valve is a universal PCV (positive crankcase ventilation) valve with a 10AN ORB inlet and 6AN Male outlet. Use it when the OEM PCV valve is removed, needs to move to the catch can outlet, or on engines without a PCV system.
Like an OEM PCV valve, the internal plunger dynamically meters crankcase vent airflow based on engine load. A proper PCV valve prevents the vacuum leak a check valve would create at low loads, closes during an intake backfire so combustible vapours cannot ignite in the crankcase, and closes under boost on turbocharged and supercharged engines to stop intake pressure entering the crankcase.

Installation Notes
- Lubricate the ORB O-ring with O-ring lube, petroleum jelly or oil before installation to prevent damage.
- AN flare connections should be installed dry and clean. Hand thread until fully engaged, then tighten 1/4 to 1/2 turn after bottoming out by hand.
