The Radium Engineering 20-0530 is a universal straight PCV (positive crankcase ventilation) valve with a 10AN ORB inlet and a 3/8" (9.5mm) barb outlet. Use it when the OEM PCV valve is removed, needs to be relocated to the catch can outlet, or on engines that do not have a PCV valve at all.

Like an OEM PCV valve, the internal plunger dynamically meters crankcase vent airflow based on engine load. A proper PCV valve avoids the vacuum leak a simple check valve would create at low engine loads, closes during an intake backfire so combustible vapours cannot ignite inside the crankcase, and closes under boost on turbocharged and supercharged engines to stop intake pressure entering the crankcase.
