Paragon Performance 2-piece rotors are engineered for demanding track and race use, with directional ventilation vanes that create suction and turbulence to guide cool air through the rotor. The improved airflow helps dissipate heat, reduce brake fade, and increase resistance to cracking during harsh track conditions.

The rotor rings are made from CM-250 special-formulated high-carbon alloy cast iron for strong bite, consistent thermal characteristics, high-temperature strength, and durability. Heat treatment releases internal stress to help prevent deformation and vibration, while CBN surface machining supports a clean break-in with new brake pads. Lateral run-out is held within 0.03mm and balance variation within 2 grams.

The fully floating 2-piece design allows controlled thermal expansion while minimising deformation and helping the rotor self-centre with the pads. The slotted face pattern keeps the contact surface clean, helps dissipate heat and released gases, and reduces the formation of water films in wet conditions. Lower unsprung mass than most OE rotors also helps improve overall handling.

Each hat is CNC-machined from lightweight 6061-T6 aerospace-grade aluminium, then Mil-spec Type III black hardcoat anodised for increased wear and corrosion resistance. Material is removed where possible for weight savings while maintaining structural integrity. The assembly is designed to work with the OEM ABS and brake system, maintain factory brake bias, and accept OEM pads or aftermarket pads with the same pad depth (D).
