At the heart of the system is Öhlins' proprietary DFV (Dual Flow Valve) technology, which provides a more linear and consistent damping response across the full range of suspension travel. Whether you're threading through a technical section on track or navigating your daily commute, the 996 kit responds with precision and composure.

The front end uses an upside-down McPherson strut design with adjustable aluminium top mounts, delivering improved unsprung mass and sharper steering response. The rear runs a conventional shock absorber configuration using your original top mounts for a clean, bolt-on installation. Both ends feature a separate individual height adjuster, allowing approximately 20 mm of drop below standard with the recommended setup.

Every unit is corrosion salt spray tested to ISO 9227 standards and backed by a worldwide 2-year limited warranty. The kit is fully rebuildable, ensuring long-term serviceability for track-day regulars and discerning daily drivers alike.
