The ADRO G87 M2 race front lip is the front splitter of ARD (ADRO Racing Division), ADRO's motorsport engineering program, where every component is CFD simulated and track tested before release. Rather than a flat panel added to the nose, it starts an aerodynamic strategy that runs all the way to the rear diffuser, with every element developed to generate, direct and sustain the vortices the rest of the ARD system relies on.

Upper vanes condition airflow over the outer splitter surface and power the vortices under the endplate tunnels, while lower strakes control outwash to prevent spillage and maximise working area. F1-inspired endplates start vortices down the car's sides, working with the side skirts to drive more flow under the front end, and the raised central section feeds the six mid-floor undervanes and the rear diffuser while greatly reducing pitch sensitivity.

The complete ARD Aero Package generates 2555 N (574 lb) of downforce at 180 km/h, compared with 189 N for a stock M2. Prepreg carbon fiber keeps the splitter stiff under aerodynamic load, so it delivers the downforce the CFD predicted, lap after lap.
