This flagship model brings the traditional BBS cross-spoke design into the modern era using FORTEGA, BBS’s proprietary new material. It is lighter than ever with no loss of rigidity, delivering BBS performance and looks even on heavier vehicles.

FORTEGA is the first new BBS material since the extra-super duralumin of 2011, developed in response to the new demands on wheels as the world moves towards carbon neutrality. The name combines the Italian words “forte” (strong) and “lega” (alloy).

Balancing strength, flexibility and lightness, FORTEGA is around 10% lighter than conventional aluminium alloys while keeping high rigidity. Its standout feature is the ability to increase rigidity regardless of shape while keeping the characteristics of an aluminium alloy.
