Choose Your Caliper

This kit is available in three caliper configurations. Select the option that best suits your driving application:

CAR98 – 4-Piston Monobloc (Street Performance)

• Best for: Street use, spirited driving, occasional track days
• Gravity die-cast monobloc aluminium construction for optimum strength and low weight
• Staggered piston bore sizes for even pad wear
• Pin-mounted pads for low threshold pressure and low noise
• Dust sealed – suitable for street engineering certificate
• Front or rear fitment

CAR36 – 4-Piston Billet Race Caliper (Track-Focused)

• Best for: Track days, club racing, high-intensity use
• Billet aerospace-grade aluminium alloy for high strength and light weight
• Stainless steel pistons as standard (28.6/28.6mm piston sizes)
• 2kg anti-knock back springs
• Hard stainless steel wear plates
• Bolted pad retainer for increased stiffness – remove retainer to change pads
• Not dust sealed – Track use only
• Rear fitment only

TA4 – 4-Piston Caliper (Street Performance)

• Best for: Street use with enhanced braking performance
• Dust sealed – suitable for street engineering certificate
• 4-Piston configuration
• Engineered for consistent performance from cold starts to sustained high-speed braking

Alcon 2-Piece Floating Discs – 355×28mm

Each kit is supplied with Alcon's purpose-engineered 2-piece floating discs, combining a special Alcon-developed iron alloy friction ring with an aerospace specification alloy bell. Engineered for optimum bite, thermal stability, and durability at low weight.

• Unique crescent grooves on friction faces for exceptional bite without the durability issues of drilled discs
• Directional curved cooling vanes for optimum thermal management
• Floating disc system allows thermal expansion throughout disc life, minimising judder

Brake Pads – Sold Separately

Brake pads are not included, allowing you to select the compound best suited to your driving application. We offer a range of Hawk Performance pad compounds from low-dust street performance options through to full motorsport compounds for endurance and high-temperature use.

Important Notes

1. Larger brake kits may require larger wheels and/or wheel spacers for fitment. A fitment diagram can be provided on request — please contact us with your exact vehicle details.
2. Rear brake kits for vehicles with drum parking brakes are compatible with the OEM handbrake assembly but are recommended for off-road use only. The 2-piece rotors use an aluminium hat which will wear with regular handbrake use.
3. Rear brake kits for vehicles with mechanical caliper parking brakes will require a hydraulic park brake assembly (sold separately).
4. Rear brake kits for vehicles with electronic caliper parking brakes will require either a hydraulic park brake assembly or secondary caliper (both sold separately).

Caliper Fitment Diagrams

Printable caliper fitment templates are available on request. To use:

• Download and print at full scale. Verify dimensions A & B are correct. Glue or tape to cardboard for rigidity. The dashed line represents the maximum caliper profile.
• Remove the wheel from the vehicle. Place face-down on a protected surface.
• Place the wheel location spigot of the template inside the wheel and rotate, checking for a minimum 2mm clearance between the caliper profile and the wheel in all positions. Wheel balance weights may be repositioned if required.
