Overview

The PRL Motorsports Titanium Turbocharger Inlet Pipe Kit (Standard Bore) is a direct bolt-on inlet pipe upgrade for the 2017-2021 Honda Civic Type R (FK8) — eliminating airflow restriction before the turbocharger and delivering over a 50% increase in inlet airflow versus the factory pipe. Designed to pair with the PRL HVI Street MAF intake.

Engineering Details

The kit uses a cast aluminium inlet piece that gasket-matches to the 64mm ID compressor inlet, then transitions smoothly into an 80mm OD / 78mm ID titanium crossover pipe. The result is a smoother, larger airflow path with reduced restriction before the turbo — improved low-end torque, faster spool, and bolt-on top-end power.

Important — Standard Bore Fitment

This is the Standard Bore version, designed to pair with the PRL HVI Street MAF Intake (PRL-HCR-INT-HVI-A). If running the Race MAF / Big Bore HVI (PRL-HCR-INT-HVI-B), use the matching Big Bore inlet pipe (PRL-HCR-INT-TIP-B). Does NOT fit the factory airbox.
