It's especially worthwhile once a windscreen is fitted, as the windscreen can draw vapour back towards the occupants.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFederal (non-CARB) Mavericks have no EVAP purge system, so the tank simply vents raw fuel vapour. In Radium's testing with a combustible gas detector, vapour at the tank vent exit measured over 10,000 ppm without the canister and under 50 ppm with it fitted.
